FOR DAY TRIPS, LONG TRIPS—YOU DECIDE

Pack animals have long been used to give us humans the desired edge in the mountains. For centuries Ccara llamas have been the driving force to help the Inca with their way of life in the Andes Mountains.  They have been born and bred in the high mountain air, and are right at home in some of the harshest and most demanding environments encountered on the high altitude peaks.

The product of careful breeding and centuries pursuing perfection have given us today’s Ccara, this proven lineage has carried the load for many before you into these beautiful mountains we love so much.  There is no more trustworthy or acclimated solution for the journey you desire.

Packers have to be strong, fit, versatile, gentle, and willing creatures you can encounter. Llamas fit this description to a tee. In tough terrain, they remain the ever-stoic companion you want by your side. There is no better hiking, hunting, camping, or exploring buddy that you could ask for. Packing gear can be quite limiting if done single handedly. Especially in an extended stay, or long-distance situation. Don’t worry about carrying your “stuff”, our llamas have your back.
